What I ate… Week 13

Well I’m back from my music festival (lovely, thanks) and back to trying to cook healthy but hearty meals without breaking the bank. This week I’ll be using one rump steak between two people and making a Mary Berry style steak and ale pie – that is to say, with pastry on the top of the dish like a lid. Neither Mary nor I are afraid to court controversy.

Coddle.

Tuesday

Chicken and mushroom pasta.

Wednesday

Roast turkey breast, asian-style vegetables
and noodles.

Thursday

Leftover turkey breast, vegetables and brown rice.

Friday

Seafood risotto.

Saturday

Steak and ale pie.

Sunday

Gammon, roast vegetables and greens.
