What I ate… Week 20

The permanent roommate gets to fly out to Naples this week for work. Alright for some – while I spend my week in the grey and cloudy Midlands he’ll get to sample some culinary delights in the sunshine.

We were supposed to take delivery of some new pet chickens this week but sadly a new Avian Flu prevention zone went up around the breeder’s location. The birds are all fine but I won’t get to meet them for another couple of weeks at the very least.

Monday

Sausage and chips.

Tuesday

Turkey and pasta.

Wednesday

Brisket, carrot and mushroom pie,
new potatoes and vegetables.

Thursday

Pork steak, mixed roast vegetables.

Friday

Smoked mackerel salad.

Saturday

Tofu stir fry.

Sunday

Roast pork, mashed potato and mixed veg.
